I like your face!
Portraiture is my jam, and photographing all kinds of people is my favorite thing.
Whether you need headshots for work, some fun shots for your dating profile, a desire to document your favorite space/outfit/haircut, sexy shots to get in your self-love, or a celebration of you and your loved ones, I’m your gal.
My general approach during shoots is casual, relaxed, and energetic. It usually ends up being a lot like just hanging out and chatting…while I take your picture! I will give you some direction, but it will happen fairly organically.
My goal is to discern who you are and capture you at your most true, best looking, bright and shiny self.
Being photographed is never about turning you into a completely different person.
It’s okay if you aren’t completely “comfortable” in front of the camera–most people aren’t.
We will work together to ease you into it and make sure we still get your finest side.
My hourly rate is generally $275/hour, with a two hour minimum. This includes a number of edited shots in the final outcome.
I quote per shoot, so the best way to get an accurate quote is to reach out directly and let me know what you need!
As you can see, I provide an hourly rate, but “hourly rate” is kiiiiiiiind of a misnomer.
Providing an hourly rate is a good guideline; so now you know that my minimum rate comes to about $550 for a two hour shoot. This rate doesn’t just cover shooting time, though; it also includes the time prepping, managing the photos and communication, and editing photos to get to you ASAP. So a two hour shoot usually means much, much more work than just those two hours!
If you want additional edited photos (or if this is for an event), or if there are multiple people to wrangle in a photoshoot, the quote will change, as these factors add a significant amount of work on my end.
My hourly rate does not include travel time. If the location is reasonably within the Portland Metro area, I usually do not charge an additional cost for it. If the location starts to get out to the fringe areas and will take significant travel time and effort, I charge a small fee on top of the shoot.
This is why I strongly recommend reaching out for a quote, as a catchall estimate is never going to be totally precise.
My general demeanor during shoots is casual, relaxed, and energetic. My goal is to bring out the best version of you possible. It usually ends up being a lot like hanging out and chatting…while I take your picture!
We’ll start off by taking some test shots, to make sure the lighting is good, and to help you ease into being in front of the camera.
I’ll give you some direction, and we’ll work together to ensure you’re relaxed enough to get wonderful photos of you.
I will never ever ever let you look bad. It’s my job to make sure you look AMAZING and I take it seriously.
Yes, I do! I charge a non-refundable 50% deposit to book the shoot, and then the remaining payment must be delivered day of.
I accept payment the following ways:
- Cash App
Within one week of the shoot, I will email you a Pixieset link to all of the proofs of usable photos (meaning none where you are blinking or caught halfway through expressions, etc.). These aren’t always going to be my favorites, photographically speaking, but your input on your favorites is important to me too.
Once you receive this, through Pixieset you will be able to mark a handful of your favorites. Within three weeks from the date you pick your favorites, I will edit your top picks and send you a link for downloading all of them.
Generally, for a two hour shoot (the minimum), I offer eight edited photos. If you would like more (or if this is for an event where more photos are part of the deal!), we can discuss what that looks like and I can quote you for additional shots.
Life happens! That said, I request upfront, timely communication if issues arrive.
I have a 24 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, I charge a $25 rescheduling fee. If this happens for a second time, I charge a $75 rescheduling fee.
